Undergraduate Honors Convocation

Every year, before commencement, we honor our graduating students who have excelled academically or for  special achievements during their years at San Francisco State University.  Their accomplishments are celebrated at  the All-University Undergraduate Honors Convocation. Students qualify for inclusion in the Convocation either by achieving a grade point average that places them at the top 1.5% of their college's graduating class or by being selected as a department honoree by their academic department.

WHEN:  Wednesday, May 24, 7:00 p.m. (Event runs approximately 2 hours and is followed by a reception in Jack dams Hall in the Cesar Chavez Student Center).

INVITEES:  The top 1.5% of those students who graduated in Summer and Fall 2016 or will graduate in Spring or Summer, 2017 with high overall GPA’s in each of the Colleges and Special Majors and Department Honorees.
 
DETAILS:  By invitation only.  Academic Regalia is required.  Honors Cords are available as an optional purchase at time of regalia rental.
