Academic Planning
Planning is essential to evaluating the quality of academic programs at San Francisco State University. Planning is comprised of three interrelated academic processes:
- Academic Program Review :
A process to assess the University's academic degree programs during the course of a 'cycle' that lasts approximately six years to complete.
- Academic Program Assessment :
Departmental level assessment strategies are reported annually in order to identify and mark progress toward enacting their objectives and goals.
- Discipline Specific Accreditation :
Academic programs that are accredited by outside agencies prepare and submit accreditation documents which address indicators an
