Academic Planning

Planning is essential to evaluating the quality of academic programs at San Francisco State University. Planning is comprised of three interrelated academic processes:
  1. Academic Program Review :
  2. A process to assess the University's academic degree programs during the course of a 'cycle' that lasts approximately six years to complete.
  3. Academic Program Assessment :
  4. Departmental level assessment strategies are reported annually in order to identify and mark progress toward enacting their objectives and goals.
