Welcome to the homepage of Academic Program Development. This office performs the following services:
- provides administrative support for the development of new academic degree programs, revision of academic programs, and discontinuance of obsolete programs;
- oversees the process of approving new courses and revising existing courses;
- produces the University Bulletin;
- facilitates the development of program innovations. Current/recent examples include off-campus courses and programs (including the Caņada College/SFSU Pathways Program and the College of Marin/SFSU Partnership Program), and Special Sessions (self support) degree, credential, and certificate programs;
- administers the College of Extended Learning;
- administers the Institute for Next Generation Internet;
- administers the Presidential Scholars Program.
